Chinese Characters/special characters for approval msg in approval screen

Hello Everyone,

I have an issue of Chinese characters in the approval message that appears for approvers in Approval Screen.

We are in SRM 5.0 and integrated to Netweaver portal.

When i checked the approval message in approval screen from Netweaver portal, some chinese characters are appearing.

but when i checked the same from EBP, box shapes (special characters) are appearing.

Device type of language ZH is defined as CNSAPWIN in our system.

Please advice if i should change it to PDFUC. Also, this issue is not happening for all the shopping carts but only for few.
