Unable to REPLACE approvers in SC workflow and PO(n-step BADI) workflow

Dear Experts,

I have an issue in my SRM 5.00 system, Business Users are not able to REPLACE approvers from the approver preview tab in the approval workflow for SC (WS14000109) workflow and the PO (WS14000145 BADI) documents which are in AWAITING APPROVAL status.

The moment I replace the approver, the screen shows correctly, but when I SAVE/ORDER it does not get updated in the system though. When I return back to the screen and check the approvers - they are the original approvers and not the new replaced ones.

Please advice.

Hi,

What is your SP level? you can replace the approver before you order the SC , PO... i feel some security issue.. just try.. if this is happen in development system.. then give full access to the requestor and test..

Since youu2019re trying to change the awaiting for approval SC, my guess is youu2019re not pulling back the SC or PO properly from existing approval process...
