Pick HU Stuck in SEBA Bin in S4 HANA

Hi All,

In S4 HANA Outbound POSC the pick hu is getting stuck in SEBA Bin means after the pick hu created in SEBA Bin there should be one more HU Warehouse task should be created to move the pick hu to packing work center but this in not creating the reason for this is storage/putaway complete indicator(logically the product is put away to the same storage type so because of the above indicator the storage process ended) but i cross checked the same process in EWM 9.3 there it is working fine even with the storage/putaway complete so i raised incident to sap ,sap people also suggesting to remove this indicator or to have a separate bin(separate storage type) for SEBA if i remove this indicator put away will not be completed as the stock reference still contains the reference as order number i don't know what to do now i am not getting proper solution from sap.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Never heard that name before....

That is of course a not very sensible suggestion....

Which actually it should be. The start bin (assuming you assigned this) is where the bin a picker goes to to get the packaging material for the pick hu. Now there is no WT leading him to it, and there doesn't have to be any stock.

In a pick, pack, and pass scenario in our training we build this up using bins in the same storage type as where we pick from - but that is more out of saving time to create another storage type for these bins. And at least in 9.3, yes, there it works, have not tested in 9.4. Maybe I should do...

Any findings ,can you kindly please help me if possible why because we are moving to production soon in couple of weeks so i need a little help & also there is no reply from sap for very high priority incident too.

Hi,

sorry, I don't think I can help you there, except saying "to have a separate bin(separate storage type)" is the right solution. The bin you assign to as start bin, where is it? Is it really in the same storage type as you pick from? Well, that does not make much sense.
