Checking capacity in picking by trolley

Hello all,

have somebody an idea about check capacity in picking by trolley in SAP EWM (by RF application)? We need group requests by certain trolley type and pick complete request to one trolley (to manage requests and trolley loading/unloading). Trolley capacity is calculated by amount of pieces depend by product. The trolley will be loaded with multiple components.

We have some ideas, f.e. using Storage Bin as trolley and Warehouse Order as request (1 WO = 1 trolley) or using Outbound Delivery as request and Transport Unit as trolley (1 Outbound Delivery = 1 trolley). Unfortunatelly in every variants Z-development is neccessary.

That should mean that you want to control the warehouse order creation rule. You should not try anything else.

During the creation of the WO you don't know which resource (=trolley) is going to process this, so you can not consider the capacity, only if you can control it by queues.

There is a BadI to re-create the WO once a resource has the WO assigned. That is what you should look into.
