'Anchor' time period in IBP

Within IBP is it possible to 'anchor' a reference time period in IBP?

Example -

I want to setup a Calculated KF that will show me the values of the source KF, but only if it is the third month starting in Jan

Hi Dan,

Here is what you can do. Create another Key Figure : helper and load that with a value 1, in the buckets you need the value output in another key figure. in your case, first month of every quarter. This could be a CPI-DS job scheduled monthly or you can do that using a manually maintained file using data integration and keep updating the buckets each month and updating the key figure.

Once you've loaded the helper key figure with 1 for required buckets, create another calculated key figure and put a calculation to check if the helper key figure is 1 then this calculated key figure gets value from source key figure, else default it to null.
