EWM - putaway with LOSC and automatically triggered posting change

Hi All,

I have this scenario for putaway:

- LOSC is in place between the inbound staging bay and the final storage type for putaway. So there is an interim storage type/storage bin the goods go through.

- the interim Storage type is linked to a specific availability group that triggers a posting change

After Goods Receipt, When i create WT for putaway:

- The system creates and confirms the first WT from the inbound staging bay to the interim storage type and triggers the posting change (as expected)

Problem: The second WT from the interim storage type to the final storage types carries the stock type of the goods receipt. Therefore, because the goods have changed stock type in the interim storage type, this last WT cannot be confirmed.

Any idea is welcome,

....what is the reason why you do not trigger the posting change on the final storage bin only?

Only for some products, the clients requires a posting change to be executed immediately on receipt and the goods to be moved away from the inbound bay (to the interim).

At a later stage these HUs will be moved to the final storage bin and the putaway completed (i wanted this latter step to be the confirmation of the second WT, from interim to final bin).

...ok - got it. Need to think about that. Perhaps you try to already provide a different sloc in the precessor document in ECC/S4. Have you tried that?

Hi,

... but that should work. Just tried: I have an inactive WT with stock type F1 (let's go with the standard stock types) and an active for the interim bin, also with stock type F1. In the moment when I confirm the active WT, the second one gets activated and the stock type is changed to F2. So no problem on my side.

What other settings you have in the interim storage type.
