Custom Program to Update FC order category

Hi Experts,

I need your help.

We have a requirement where we will be getting details like Product, Location, Quantity and Date in TXT file.

We need to create custom program to update these data for FC order category which will be displayed in forecast.

Could you please let me know what approach I should follow? Or what FM/BAPI is available for this requirement?

Rachna,

Since this is just forecast, I would suggest you to use APO BW to extract data from flat file into Info Cube, load data into a planning area time series key figure and release forecast to SNP with your choice of ATP category (FA, FC etc)

However, client does not want to go for info cube, time series key figure approach.

Is it possible to do through a custom program?
