Allocate the salesorder in different manufactruing plants ?

Hi All,

I have 3 manufacturing plants where in the sales orders are available in the sales office and we need to distribute the sales orders to different manufacturing plants based on the capacity.

we have a requirement where the system should automatically allocate the sales order in different manufacturing plants based on capacities.

This scenario will be achieved by using GATP - Product allocation functionality with integration to DP planning area. explore the product allocation functionality.

Hi Ravi

Sales order is always on a plant / DC. What do you mean when you say you want to allocate the sales order to a plant?

If you are trying to say that you have a priority defined i.e. first it should check for availability of product in plant A, if not then in B and then C - then you may explore Rule-Based Availability Check functionality of APO gATP. If you want to look at the production capacity then you may have to explore Capable-to-Promise functionality as well. Please provide more details so that your requirement is clear.
