how does TWO steps picking works in EWM

dear experts,

can somebody describe two steps process flow + pertaining configuration.

i describe business use case.

in source bin 1000 qty of full pallet.

I have two separate delivery each req. qty = 500.

to have efficient warehouse operation I need the Whse operator to be picking the pallet from source bin only once.

- we group deliveries as part of Wave pick.

- bring to ID point where the full HU will be opened

- qty will be distributed according the delivery qty..

- label will be re-printed .
