Monitoring of automatic triggers (subscriptions) in SAP DM

Hi Experts,

Is there any way to monitor when a trigger (subscription) get call in DM via MQTT, is there any way we can check if the trigger is successfully called or failed.

We can't find such app in DM where we can monitor the triggers like we monitor the production process (using Monitor production process app).

Can anyone please help or suggest where we can monitor these triggers in SAP DM.

Quick help will be appreciated.

Hello Ankit Gupta,

in case you Subscription triggers a Production Process you can use the Monitor Production Process app as already mentioned by you.

If you would like to have specifically logs for the subscription you can go to Configure Production Connectivity app, select Shop Floor System tab and select the Shop Floor System configured in the Subscription configuration. Alternatively you can navigate to details from Subscription configuration as well:

On this Screen select the Agent Instance according to the set Retention Time in the Subscription and open the Logs:

In the logs you will find the necessary details:

Hi Marcer,

Thanks for your response. however this approach we can use if we are using shop floor system like OPCDA, OPCUA, HDA, IP21 etc.. but in our use case we are using MQTT broker and we are using automatic triggers(subscriptions) for receiving and publishing the message from/to MQTT broker.

In Manage message broker we don't see these agent created and we can't perform and start/stop or view logs action in SAP DM unlike we can do in shop floor system.

Hello Ankit Gupta,

in case of MQTT I do have two suggestions:

1. with the 2505 release of SAP Digital Manufacturing we do have added the support to show Production Processes into Monitor Production Processes triggered by MQTT Subscriptions

2. You can use the Production Connector Control Center to look at the Agent logs for MQTT Subscriptions. See these example:
