ZIP upload to Dtype - ECTR

Hello,

I have created a Doc type and corresponding dtype to handle ZIP files as Primary files. In the Dtype config, the primary workstation application is set as ZIP. In DC10, for the corresponding Doc type, the workstation Appl is set as ZIP.

Even after this, when I am creating a DIR and drag & drop the ZIP file, it picks the WS APPL as ANY and not ZIP. Since this is the primary file, I do not want to add additional_files into the dtype config. How do I correct this?

Hello Prashanth,

did you also adjust the dytpe.xml in ECTR frontend and uploaded it?

Hello Gerhard,

Are you referring to both dtype files? If so, yes, I have made changes to both dtype.xml (under Config and under applications).

Hello,

Based on my further check, I found that a system takes a ZIP file as ANY by default and this cannot be changed. The only option is to use the seedfile option or upload ZIP as a secondary file.

I will unfortunately have to mandatorily use <seedfile> into my Config.

Let me know if there is any other solution.
