Behavior of DGP2, DGE5 & DGE6

Dear experts,

I need the detailed description & difference in the different procedures that we adopt to fill the Dangerous goods master data via transactions - DGP2, DGE5 & DGE6.

Also, it would really be great if the explanation provides the answer as to why & when we use each of the above transactions i.e the purpose served by them.

As far as my understanding of it concerned, DGE5 is used for aumated filling of the dangerous goods master data while DGP2 is used to do it manually & is generally not recommended where as DGE6 is used only for simulation of filling from specification management.

Hi Anshul,

You are right with the description of each transaction, I will add that after use DGE5, you should check the log of the process with transaction DGP7.
