SAP PM-Compatible Units Integration with PPM

Dear All,

The scenario here is to do the maintenance projects where the cost estimation is based upon the Compatible Units (CUs). I am sure that there is no integration of CUs with PPM.

However can you suggest work around to get the costs of CUs and represent it as planned costs in PPM project.

Something like, we define each CU as a phase or task and populate a custom field on phase or task with the CU ( using Z-table and drop down) and then also pull its latest cost from ECC core system.

Please suggest if this can be viable route.

HI Mahendra,

CU are used for operational level costing.

PPM-PFM Portoflio Management is tight intergrated in FICO, PS and HR.

If you want the planned costs to be tranfered from Work Order to Portfolio Item or cProject. Then you need to maintain PM Maintenance/Service Order as OBJECT LINK in PPM Object and the transfer the plan costs to PPM.

That is a standard functionality in PPM.
