SAP System is very slow while running projects in cProjects.

Hi ALL,

SAP System performance is very slow while running projects in cProjects.

Some big project are taking very long time to save or open and it is very abnormal.

Can anyone suggest? How can my cProject performance can be improved?

Shall I take BASIS help for TRACE? If ‘YES’.. then Can anyone explain how TRACE is done. What will be end result of TRACE?

Hi Roshan,

For running trace go to transaction SCIF and enter service as "cpro", then select project managenmnt service "cprojects_fpm", activate runtime analysis.

After this do whatever action you want to do in cProjects and deactivate the runtime analysis.

Now go to transaction SAT, enter same service name as before, and under existing measurements you can see the time taken by each action.
