Hey guys,

A blast from the 11.5 past here. I've been searching around to see if there were any good documents / methods to back up an 11.5 server for migration to a new server. Not sure if anybody had developed a script to do this or not.

Basically the idea is to be able to back up all the XMII files I would need to re-deploy on a new server after installing xMII and its service packs. That being said, I don't want to just grab everything, in case the new server has a different name.

I've done this manually in the past but there always seems to be a few things I forget. So far I have the following.

\wwwroot\<web pages> (Your web pages)

\Lighthammer\Illuminator\Conf (configurations for user nav)

\Lighthammer\Illuminator\Templates\<your template folders(s) (Your templates)

\Lighthammer\Illuminator\SysConf\ (but not everything here)

\Lighthammer\Xacute\Configuration\SAPServerConfiguration.xml (JCO Server configs)

\\Lighthammer\Xacute\Globals

\Lighthammer\JCO\jcoservers.xml (IDOC listeners)

\ServletExec AS\se-xMII\webapps\default\Lighthammer\WEB-INF\lib\<any JDBC driver files> (JDBC Drivers)

Anything I'm missing? if the server is using MII security (not LDAP or JDBC) where would be the best places to get that? In the past I've used the internal security migration tool, but that wouldn't work if the original server is down.
