Most attributes even for an Initiative is saved in item_d table and in fact each Initiative creates entry in this table as well. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Error in Initiative custom field</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are getting error in Initiative custom field as below " The value of the mandatory input field XXXXXXX is initial" &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Custom field is created in "General information tab". When we try to input the value into these custom field and then hit Enter button, the value entered in the custom field is disappeared.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note that we have added the custom fields by appending the include structure for Initiative. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Screen shot below for reference&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help is much appriciated&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ashish&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG class="migrated-image" src="https://community.sap.com/legacyfs/online/storage/attachments/storage/7/jiveimages/257277" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
