Recommended JRE for SAP MII 12.2.3 Build(182 )

Hi, Over the weekend,JRE in all of user systems were updated automatically. And Some of the applets stopped working .

Wondering, Is there any Recommended JRE for MII 12.2.3 ??

wt version u using i guess trying 1.7 .. I believe 1.6 works fine! (Not sure about applets n stuff)

Hi,

If JRE 1.7 is used then you will get a security warning popup with message "Do you want to run the application?". You need to select "Do not show this again for this app" and click Run button to display applet

In JRE 1.7_13, the security settings in Java Control Panel is set to high. Even for medium security, the popup will display for running the applet.

In case of 1.6, you may not have any issues.

Hi Hari,

We are using SAP MII version 12.2.3 Build (183) and the JRE version we are using is 1.6.0_33. It's working fine and all the applets are loading as expected.

I am not talking about work bench at all.Work bench is getting opened in all versions.

I am only talking about applets which gets rendered on html/irpt page.

Issue is, Applets are not rendering at all in 1.7 update 13 and in 1.7.07..i am seeing some mixed results with applets.

For me, applets are rendered perfectly in html/irpt also.

Found the issue.

I was using 32 bit IE and updated the system with JRE 64 bit.

Now i have also installed 32 bit JRE, both workbench and applets works fine.

I have updated to latest version which is 1.7 update 13.
