GLM - Generation: WARNING: Unknown rotation case!

Dear Experts,

Client requirement is that, they want 4 label to be printed on one Label stock

I have configuration as follows

CASE1:

Label stock size: 21.9 X 37 CM ( W X H )

Label size: 18.6 X 7.2 CM ( W X H )

Label size configured in CG42 is 18.6 X 7.2 CM ( W X H )

In Label stock (CBGL_LS02), maintained above data and in addition, enter following data

No. of Label per Row: 1

No. of Label per Column: 4

Label Pitch: Vertical : 8.7 CM

Distance from Edge: Left 1.8 CM

Distance from Edge: Top: 0.7 CM

in this setup getting following error:

Generation: WARNING: Unknown rotation case! Got following data: PaperWidth=620.850009;PaperHeight=1048.950016;LabelWidth=527.310000;LabelHeight=204.120000;LandscapeFlag=0

Due to this 4 label is not getting printed. Getting only One Label on paper.

what could be reason of the same. Basically what is the mean of above Warning?

Can anybody help me for the same.

Hi Amol,

I assume your settings for the number of label per row and column is wrong. If I understand your scenario correctly you want to get 4 labels in a horizontal line.

No. of Label per Row: 1

No. of Label per Column: 4

I assume that number of labels per column means that you get 4 labels in 1 column that are 4 rows.... .

Could you pls. just try it in that way:

No. of Label per Row: 4

No. of Label per Column: 1

If I memorize correctly the warning message could be a bug and should be solved in a latest WWI SP.

Sometimes this warning appears even if the label stock is setup correctly.

Thanks a lot for the help.

I would like to convey you that, I want 4 labels vertically and not horizontally so i configured as follows

No. of Label per Row: 1

No. of Label per Column: 4

also, as mentioned by you,

I did checked by recreating another lable stock.

Can you please guide me furhter..

due to this warning , 4 lables are not getting printed vertically on one Label stock.

seeking for kind guidance..

OK, got you.

Just to be sure: The number of labels that you want to print is greater than 1?

In the meantime I will have a look at the label stock definitions again.

If you are in front of the printer. How comes the label off?

Portrait and Landscape (only the paper)

If you print the label, can you read the text or do you have to rotate the label?
