Release and Lock Status selected simultaniously

Hi,

We have cProjects 4.5.

We have created the Template in the cProjects.

Now we want to the change status in the Project Definition to Release the template.

When we select the Release from the dropdown, Lock Status is also selected automatically with the release status.

After that when we try to Unlock it, the System Status gets changed to Obsolete.

Don't understand why the system does this way.

We were surprised to know that this problem was because of u201CInternet exploreru201D.

After thorough checking of all important settings in SAP, we did not find any change.

We even checked Transaction BS12, but everthing was fine.

Then we tried to run the same scenario in u201C MOZILLA FIREFOXu201D & found that scenario was running smoothly as per the expectation.

During Unit testing also entire scenario was run in u201C MOZILLA FIREFOXu201D.

The "Internet Explorer" and "Mozilla Firefox" both are installed on the machine. There is some issue with Internet Explorer compatability.

The problem is solved, but----

Now the question is why does Internet Explorer affect the Transactions in cProjects?

What part of Internet Explorer is affecting the cProjects System?

Any Suggestions are highly appreciated.
