Hi , Just like LSMW in ECC is there a way to upload Projects in cProjects based on information from a file ( excel for that matter)? Thanks.

Hello Ankush,

Yes there are standard upload programs that you need to modify to use it for your particular scenario. Please refer to the transaction RPM_DX, download the uploading excel templates, play around with some code and also refer to and other threads.

Thanks for the reply. We have only cProjects which is linked with SAP PS and no xRPM, so RPM_DX wont work.

I was wondering if there was a LSMW eqvivalent in cProjects which would let me upload Projects in cProjects and get them "trasnferred" to SAP PS?

Hi ankushkap;

Im working with the Data Migration to Upload Projects (PPM 5.0).

You have to use the Excel Template for upload your Projects.

Using transction DPR_DX_PROJECT to upload Excel File, and Download and example of the File (Layout).

You can check the "Configure Fields for Mass Import" in SPRO (different in PPM 5.0).

Refer to the note --> Note 1480595 (Project creation)
