Scheduler getting into Deadlock

Hello,

We now have the exact same problem of scheduler dead loacks.

When a transaction fails while running thr scheduler - it gets locked and stays at "running".

We are on patch-6 SP08.

Checked with basis- and they confirmed that they applied patch-6 directly - assuming -patch-06 includeds all the prior fixes.

is that true?

if so, then we have a problem of jobs getting into "deadlock" in prod.

Please let me know.

Promod,

We currently have v12.0.9 patch 3 on SMP, I suggest moving to this release and re-testing.

Hi Sam,

We are on version

12.0.8 Build(24) (Patch6)

It was working before when we were on the very earliest version of 12.0

According to the release notes for SP9 there are changes to the scheduler and msg services:

Patch-2 for xMII 12.0 SP09, note [1427373|https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=1427373&_NLANG=E]

Patch-3 for xMII 12.0 SP09, note [1428898|https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISPL_TXT&_NNUM=1428898&_NLANG=E]

As a result I would upgrade and re-test.
