Automatic MSDS shipping with Inbound documents

Good Morning everybody,

we are workingwith SAP ECC 6.00. I am using CG36VEN to import vendor MSDS reports, which is working properly.

Now I want to start the automatic shipping of MSDS reports, triggered by delivery.

To check it I manually accept the report request in CVD1 and use the button "ship immediatelly". Then I start the processing with report RCVDEVEN.

The report runs and processes two (why two?) requests.

After refreshing the CVD1 hitlist the process stops with ERROR. Ectract from flow trace:

03.09.2009 06:18:22 EXDE0602 Starting user exit CVEO_RDO_BUNDLE_GENERATE

03.09.2009 06:18:22 EXDE0602 Shipping order processing terminated (Message no. DV456)

03.09.2009 06:18:22 EXDE0602 Status switch from Gebündelt (bundled) to Fehlerhaft (error)

Does anybody have seen something similar berfore and knows how to fix the problem?

Then It is failing at CVEO_RDO_BUNDLE_GENERATE stage- Please check the corresponding User Exit and parameters under Spro - Environment, Health & Safety - Product Safety - Basic Settings - Manage User Exits.

that´s my thinking as well. Are there any defaults I have to check? Sorry, but I am not an user exit expert ...

I just opened the SPRO function, the settings are as follows:

User exit cat User exit Function module Sort Descr. Function module

SRE_DIST EHS_GEN CVEO_RDO_BUNDLE_GENERATE 1 Std. generate module -

I highlightend the row and doubleclick an the left side "Parameters and values" - here we have no entries.

Does the system expect anything here? Is the combination (User exit cat. --> User exit --> Function module) correct?

Hello

User Exit - Function module assignment is correct.

Check this SAP Note 1075753 - Report shipping - Error during sending of inbound reports. Also check SAP note Numbered 1096697 - EH&S report shipping. Which gives you complete Customization.

Hi Jayakumar,

it seems I found the error source - the number range for SBE was wrong. Now I changed it and the generation process was done on the WWI server - but know the following error message occurs:

Saving document data has failed

Message no. C$833

Diagnosis

Saving data for document 000 WWI-00000000000000000383 00 has failed.

System Response

Generation was not successfully completed.D

Do you have any suggestion on that?

Still the problem lies with DMS. Refer SAP Notes 995736 & 855793.

I looked on the customizing but everyting is according to the OSS notes.

Hi,

the final problem was in customizing "Specify shipping reasons". The flag "Final report" had to be removed.
