Regarding S-User Id

Hi,

I would like to know what is this s-user id and what are its benefits. Is this user id available only for company who have implemented SAP or even for certified professionals.

Before ANYONE can register for a class or certification exam, they need an S-userid first. The number connects you with your training and exam history. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I did two certification in SAP linked to the same S -User Id but the ID got deleted, will the certification link exists if deletion is roll backed

what is the difference between S-User Id and OSS Id

Good question - I believe the S-userid and OSS ID are the same numbers. My suggestion to you is to call the SAP Education Help Desk for the country in which you work. They should be able to clarify and resolve your issues.

Thanks for the reply. I have done my certification in SD module in the year April2008 nad have got a certification id too. But I am not sure about the S-User Id. Do I need to get in touch with SAP here locally and find out.

That is the certificate ID, with an 'S' in front of it. SAP service marketplace offers password reset possibilities provided that your email address is still the one you submitted when taking the certification. Otherwise contact SAP education to get your details corrected.

The certification ID is something that is printed on your certificate. This is used no-where for logins. You will have to get your S-user ID, which starts with S from the local SAP Education office. If you are from India, contact the SAP Bangalore office and get your details from them, after providing your cerrect certification details. You shall get their email address and No. from the SAP website.

The S-user ID enables you to log into the Service marketplace and take advantage of various services/ help items provided by SAP.

If I logon to the S-User ID account, will it show my SAP certification exam details? If so, at which tab in sap service market place, I can able to see it.

You can use S-User to access the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com). If you forgot your password, please follow the steps here: http://service.sap.com/reset-pw.

If you have purchased the SAP Education offering via the SAP Education Shop (http://training.sap.com), your S-User will also be automatically linked to your SAP Education

Shop profile allowing you to access your scheduled training in the “My Account” area of the Education Shop. You will be notified of this assignment when you login to the

shop.

If this will be your first time accessing the SAP Education Shop, create a new user profile by navigating to http://training.sap.com and click on the register link at the

top-right corner of the screen. You will then have to assign your S-User manually to your SAP Education Shop profile. NOTE: Please use the same email address you provided

when you submitted your request for the S-User. Full instructions on how to register and assign your S-User can be found at http://training.sap.com/pdf/welcome.pdf.

You will receive separate emails with information about your Education offerings.

You can get your S-User ID after registration for Certification exam.
