Which one to select C_TAW12_70 or P_ABAP_70?

Hi All,

I am SAP ABAP consultat with 3.5 years of experience in following areas of ABAP.

Classical and ALV Reporting, BDCs, User-Exits, Customer Exits, BTEs, BADIs, Smartforms, Sapscripts, Data Dictionary, BAPIs / RFCs

ALE-IDOCs, ABAP OOPs, Webdynpro.

I know this question is asked many times on SCN Blogs, but still I am not able to decide for which exam I can appear either C_TAW12_70 .or P_ABAP_70

1. C_TAW12_70 - Fundamental Knowledge about ABAP

2. P_ABAP_70 - Expertise Knowledge. (As per topics given in the syllabus, the exam focuses on more areas compare to Associate Level Exam. I have handson experience on most of the areas. So I am planning to appear for this exam)

On the SAP blogs, I have read few post stating that one can appear for any exam at any time. Kindly provide your suggessions on this.

(Also in the blogs I have found that, SAP Education Team can help to select your examination as per your profile. Where can I get the contact details for this team, especially in India?)

Hi,

That's like asking: should I go for a Bachelor's degree or a Master's?

If you think you can pass the Master's exam, go for it!

The risk is greater, but so is the reward.
