External Candidate cannot open my profile screen.

Dear All,

SAP E-Recruiting setting on my environment, I have one system for front-end system and another backend system.

I quite confuse on RFC Connection setting and T77S0 setting.

1. T77S0, There are 2 parameter about RFC Connection.

- RECFA HRRFC --> The RFC connection here need to be Trusted system?

- RECFA UI2BL --> The RFC connection here need to be Trusted system?

Does RFC connection on both parameter should use one RFC connection or use different RFC connection setting?

2. RFC connection setting call to backend

On tab Logon & Security

- User field need to specify user or check on Current User checkbox.?

- Trust Relationship should be "Yes" or "No"?

Now I set by using service user in this field but the problem is when external candidate log on with the user, external candidate found message on the screen. "Unfortunately, the system is unavailable at the moment; try again later".

I checked on SLG1. I found error message "Requested data does not belong to the current user".

The error occured on "The error occurred in program LHRRCF_MDL_CAND_PROFILEU45 line 32".

I tried to debug and found out that system detect service user as SY-UNAME and compare with user of external candidate and it is not match. Then it display this error message.

Do I set something wrong? Please suggest I stuck on this for a week.

Hi Soracha,

RECFA HRRFC is the RFC connection to the HR system. So if you use HR and E-Rec on different systems, you use that switch to map E-Rec with HR.

RECFA UI2BL is the switch for the distributed WebDynpro scenario, which means you have a UI system and a backend system. This switch has to be maintained only in the frontend system and includes the RFC connection to the backend system. This one has to be a trusted system connection.

->On the backend system you have to set-up RECFA BL2UI with the RFC connection to the frontend system and switch RECFA SYEMP defines the system where your employees are logging on.

It's also very important that the SICF services are configured as mentioned in the IMG step documentation -> IMG -> Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> Candidate -> Front-End Candidate -> Specify E-Recruiting Services (Web Dynpro ABAP).

Thank you very much for your information Nicole. Your information unlocked me. Now I can set up external candidate to register and update profile.

My incorrect point

1. I didn't set parameter RECFA SYEMP = X

2. The reference external candidate user didn't set authorization S_RFCACL

After correct it, the application can run correctly.

Another information on RFC connection

I fixed user into RFC connection, so it is keeping error "

"Requested data does not belong to the current user" because it detected my fixed user compare with candidate user. It needs to check on Current user checkbox and Trust relationship is Yes.

That's all correction I did and solved my problem.
