Question Re: Report Story LMS: Total Learning Hours of an employee - Double entries multiple completion dates in Human Capital Management Q&A

Why do users complete Item several times? Is it re-training or what? On a Story reporting side that will be quite difficult. As an option, to transfer the completion date into a number (in a Query) and then in the Designer try to apply "Max" formula to get only the latest dates and use it as a filter

Hi all,

we want to report on total learning hours of an employee in LMS using Report Stories.

E.g. in items you find the total hours in the field duration. But if an item has multiple completion dates the total hours of one item is considered multiple which leads to wrong results.

Example: If an item has a duration of 0.08 hours and an learner completes that item two times the LMS report story calculates a duration for the single item of 0.16 instead of the correct 0.08 h. Is there any option to filter on the last completion date in the data source or builde? Maybe there is another workaround to skip multiple entries for one item?

BR

Dirk

I double checked the capabilities in order to figure out the latest completion date and to use as a filter but I didn't found anything?
