Guided Tour Link using API Command Not Working

Hi,

The Guided Tour Link using API command is working perfectly fine when I am in editing mode. But when the SAP Companion is not in editing mode (without 'help-editor=true'), the link does not work anymore. May I know how do I solve this?

Hi Natalie,

When you say that it is not working, does that mean that when you click the link that the Guided Tour doesn't open or it opens but doesn't play correctly. If it's the first open, i.e. it doesn't even open, I suspect that the Guided Tour is not published. Without the editing mode, you can only playback published content. Published the Guided Tour and I think the issue will be resolved.

Most likely the Guided Tour you're linking to isn't published. What parameter are you specifying on the link? Options are:

true: The Guided Tour is opened only if it is Published
false: The Guided Tour is opened only if it is not published
all: The Guided Tour is opened regardless of its Published state

I have checked, the Guided Tour is published. But can I specify the parameters if I am using API command?

Hi Shane, the Guided Tour did not open. But as per checking, the Guided Tour is published.

I added "True" at the back of the API command and it works thanks!

It is working now, I missed out the "True" parameter, thanks for your suggestion!
