Employment Details Portlet Workflow not triggering even though it appears in rule log

Good evening,

I have created a workflow such that if the value of a field is changed, it should trigger. I can even see it in the rule tracking log as SUCCESSFUL but I still don't see it working. I don't understand why this is happening, if it is appearing in the rule log... can you help me please?

Hello, agali,

Employment Details supports Employment Information or Employment Information Model as Base Object for Business Rule.
The workflow should be assigned to employmentInfo.

Hello Alina,

But employment information as far as i know is only for the add new employee UI and i only want the workflow happen in the Porltet of the employee profile. Is Employment Details models not supported?

No, Employment information isn`t only for New Hire wizard.

Was having the same issue and discovered that it will depend of the scenario.
If the change is done via Take Action the workflow triggers

If the change is done via the Edit button, the workflow does not trigger
