Performance Background element mapped as a column in Compensation

Hello everyone,

We are trying to bring a Historical Performance rating to the Compensation form. The historical rating will be loaded in a background element and we are struggling with ways to map the information to the Compensation form.

When looking into Talent Profile fields to be mapped as a column, no background element is visible.

Has anyone tried to find a workaround for the background element to be visible in the mapping?

There is no way I know of to map a background element to a column in compensation. Instead of using a background element, could you instead use an MDF object? Assuming you have Employee Central, the functionality would be essentially similar in the profile but you could map it to a compensation column.

The customMDF option was our proposal as well, but I wanted to see if there a way not to change current Performance team configuration.
