How to Trigger Pipeline from CDL for Certain Business Unit

Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP Commissions and in our commission we have 2 business units which are using different schema and calendar separately. Currently we are having requirement to trigger pipeline process from CDL which each business unit have different timing to do so.

Appreciate your kind help and guidance for steps need to be done for this.

Hi kl_it

In CDL, you have template called CDL_PIPELINE_Template which will trigger a pipeline ..
This will take care if you have PU's and custom calendar..

Since BU's are associated to PU's.. you will have to mention PU Name in template.

Thank you so much for information shared.

Yes we do have separate processing unit for each business unit. Besides that each business unit has its own custom calendar.

In my case, let say that BU A has PU A and Calendar A. And Business Unit B has PU B and Calendar B.

Already did try to drop the pipeline file on the SFTP for PU B with Period Jan 2021. But on the CDL log there is error saying that the period name maintained on Calendar A. And on the template there is no field for which Calendar pipeline should be triggered.

It seems there is a certain way to set up that which calendar will be used and this step still missing. Wondering in where we can set it up ?

Use the below format and change the values according to your design and drop it sftp and let me know how it goes..

Hi Yoga,

Already tried by putting the Calendar Name on the last field of the file and face another error.

Here is the error message: "Error while submitting job to Pipeline: URL=https://0373.callidusondemand.com/TrueComp-SaaS/services/rest//pipeline/submitJob;ResponseStatus=500;ResponseText=com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.MappingIterator@46401323"

Wondering how to know what is causing this error and how to solve it ?

Raise a support ticket, this error leads to RestAPI seems to be down.
