Desktop Assistant Potentially Causing SAP Input Text Issues

Hello, 18 of our users are complaining that Desktop Assistant is slowing down input field entries in our SAP production environment. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Sally,

If you are not recording the screen, the Desktop Assistant will not read out what you insert into the fields (check the security documents here). So there might be a generic issue with the working memory of the clients, but not specifically for input fields.

Please raise a support incident to have the support look at this issue - it seems to be impacting your users quite a lot.

Thank you Kristina. We did meet with SAP support yesterday, and we found a scripting checkbox was selected in SAP so once we removed, it worked better but not great. We then found that our SAP team had turned on something for text input with a new enhancement we rolled out so we think the 2 are conflicting. SAP is looking into the issue.
