Hello Gary,

We have Bank Bonds that are purchased

If you've purchased the bond then use transaction type 100 "Purchase"

Premium and Discounts are calculated

Premium is the difference between Purchase Price and Nominal price, when Purchase Price (Un.Quot) of the bond is higher then nominal price

Discount is the difference between Purchase Price and Nominal price, when Price (Un.Quot) of the bond is less then nominal price.

amoritized over time

You need to configure amortization (it's a part of valuation) and use tr. TPM1.

SAP Bond Types

We have Bank Bonds that are purchased and Premium and Discounts are calculated and amoritized over time. I have tried using standard Transaction 04I to do this but when I Purchase a Bond then gives me outflow to suggest the Money is being paid out. Then have to complete a Bond Purchase then a Sale. All I want to do is create a Bond that we receive from the bank and set up amortisation for any Premium/Discount for the additional money. Is there a Standard Transaction Type to complete this as the only one's seem to require Purchase or Sale of the Bond. The other one's based on 300/400 do not allow the Premium/Discount calculation.
