Separated texts in block tagging in XHTML

Dear SAP-Support,

at the moment we are working on the introduction of the block tagging in our financial statement. We did a small test in which we created a XHTML-file with detailed tagging of financial figure and some block taggs.

Our auditor has advised us that the texts in the block taggings are separated in single words, sometimes several words are connected but mainly there are single words.

Please see the output of the file in attached screenshot.

Hello olafebel

This is a consequence of how Disclosure Management creates the xHTML - which contains <span> tags in absolute position, resulting in what you describe.

Another effect of this can be seen in the previewer.

There are currently, as far as I know, no plans to resolve this. It should not affect the submission of the file to the regulator, as this is still valid iXBRL
