Subscription contract suspend and resume in S4 HANA 1909

Hi All,

I have a requirement to setup subscription contract suspend and resume scenario in SOM in S4HANA 1909 Version.

I am aware that this feature is available in 2020 but any inputs/suggestions to achieve the same in 1909 is a great help.

Hi Praveen,

I guess you are referring to Lock and Unlock of subscription contracts. The functionality is available in S/4HANA 1909 SP01 onwards.

If you meant some other functionality then please explain the process to better understand the requirement. Thanks.

Greeting !! Thank you for your time...

I have pretty much straight requirement to temporarily suspend the subscription contract from SOM which should be updated in CC to suspend the rating and billing until we resume the contract from SOM.

I checked the lock and unlock of subscription contracts and understood the purpose differently(May be to lock the contracts to not to allow any change processes ).

I would be more happy if my understand is not correct and lock & Unlock functionality is meant for Suspend and Resume in S/4HANA 1909 SP01.

It would be of great help if you can clarify my ambiguity on this .

Here's the help for Locking and Unlocking Services, available since S/4HANA 1909 FPS01:

You have control of what you want to achieve using Lock Level. Lock Level 3 should be good for your requirement.
