BPC reporting with macro

Hi Experts,

We are working in SAP BPC 10.1 system.

I have a requirement to show the BPC Data manager package success or failure alert message in a Macro enabled work book.

As we have some sequential push buttons in the work book, each push button triggers the specific data manager packages in BPC system like [ Copy , Clear, Switch Plan and Load modes..]

Now after clicking the push button users are expecting some alert /Popup message to know whether DMP successfully completed or failed in that work book.

Please share if we have such kind of possibility in macro coding

Sorry, but data manager packages are running asynchronously on the server (sometimes it can be more then an hour). And for sure no popups for Excel.

You may think about mail alerts after package finishes.
