How to grant edit rights to the FIM Job in BPC MS Version 10.0

Hello All,

With current Profile, an User has access to View 2 specific FIM jobs., but now he needs rights to edit these jobs, assigned to him.

How can I give additional rights to the user to be able to edit the jobs assigned to him., by updating the current profile or creating a new profile..?

Appreciate any help in solving the above issue. Tech details as below..

FIM Version 10.0 (Build 2150) & BPC MS Version 10.0

CMC - SAP Business Objects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 5., Version: 14.1.5.1501

Dear Naresh,

To be able to modify a mapping of an existing job, your user should be at least a Business User.

There are 4 groups in FIM:

- FIM IT Group

- FIM Business

- FIM Executor

- FIM Auditor

You can assign the user in the group in the BI CMC, however do not assign more than one group to an user.

So in your scenario your user is Excutor or Auditor, so you have to change the group to Business

You can check in the user guide of FIM the different authorizations for the roles:
