If your concern is, they should not able to access / see other packages, then you can assign only admin packages task. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt;"&gt;To execute packages, as you mentioned, you can use VBA method.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shri &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Run package without using Data Manager</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any way to give a user the ability to run a package without giving them access to Data Manager?&amp;nbsp; This would be for an administrative person and there are two packages I want them to run.&amp;nbsp; The first package has a couple of parameters that need to be supplied and the second has none.&amp;nbsp; I found this post for NetWeaver (&lt;A __default_attr="32636" __jive_macro_name="document" class="jive_macro_document jive_macro" data-orig-content="How to Call a BPC Data Manager Package from VB" href="https://community.sap.com/"&gt;&lt;/A&gt;) and would like to do something similar in our environment.&amp;nbsp; I also see the EPMExecuteAPI and wonder if that's an option I could use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
