Run package without using Data Manager

Is there any way to give a user the ability to run a package without giving them access to Data Manager? This would be for an administrative person and there are two packages I want them to run. The first package has a couple of parameters that need to be supplied and the second has none. I found this post for NetWeaver () and would like to do something similar in our environment. I also see the EPMExecuteAPI and wonder if that's an option I could use.

Hi Pablo,

If you want to user should be able to run Data manger package, you have to assign task to the, it means you have to give access to them. If your concern is, they should not able to access / see other packages, then you can assign only admin packages task.

To execute packages, as you mentioned, you can use VBA method.
