Question Re: ASKBN posting period in Enterprise Resource Planning Q&A

Hi,

the periodic posting report reads all transaction since its last run and posts them in the appropriate period of the original posting. This is independent at which period you start this report. If you have an asset with postings in period 4, 5, 6 and 7, and you did not start ASKBN before (and do not use "direct posting"), then the periodic posting run will create 4 documents in 4 different (original) periods.

You have to open period 5 and execute ASKBN. And I would recommend to execute the periodic posting report more frequently in future.

Regards,

Markus
