Create Maintenance Order App

Hello,

I have a requirement from my client. They want the plant operators to be able to create only one specific type of maintenance order — specifically, order type YA04 (Operational Maintenance).

I have configured restrictions for this order type only, but I’m still able to create other order types as well. While exploring options, I tried to adapt the UI of the "Create Maintenance Order" app to make the Order Type field read-only. However, the default values maintained in the Fiori settings are not being populated when I open the app.

In this context, I have a few questions:

I have configured the restrictions generally in the roles BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER and BR_MAINTENANCE_TECHNICIAN, and I have also assigned the BR_EMPLOYEE_MAINTENANCE role. However, I haven’t been able to identify which catalog contains the Web Dynpro app "Create Maintenance Order". Because of this, I’m not sure whether I'm maintaining the restrictions correctly.
Is it possible to create a variant from a Web Dynpro app?
Is it possible for the fields in this app to be auto-filled using the default values?

For business catalog and role, App details please check Fiori apps library SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library

User defaults are not applicable for Web Dynpro apps.
