Curious to know if SAP is selling fresh licences of SAP ECC, Greenfield Implementations?

Hi Team,

Curious to know if SAP is still selling the fresh licences of SAP ECC system, for Greenfield Implementations? Ideally it is sensible to opt for S4 system, if we are implementing it afresh. but, is SAP ECC system available, if I want to opt for it.?

In Specific, would like to understand, till which year, SAP ECC system is available for purchase, in case of new Greenfield implementations.!

THIS QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT THE SUPPORT AVAILABILITY FOR SAP ECC, This is in the context of fresh implementation.

I don't think fresh ECC licenses are available for new implementations. The same way as fresh Ford Ts are not available anymore 😉

ECC licenses might still be there in case e.g. when you need to buy more named users for an existing installation.

Go with S/4HANA for any new project. However you might still find it difficult to get on premise licenses as SAP is pushing cloud products.

Hi Dominik, Thanks for the response. I understand, but still, trying to figure out, till which year IN THE PAST, it is available.
