NCI can be calculated on current year profit automated posting GL - SAP Group Reporting

Hi All,

After executing the net income, current year profit is rolling up in RE and now I want to calculate the NCI on the current year profit.

System is not calculating the holding & minority share on the current year profit because this FS is a automated posting account.

Please let me know the approach to calculate the minority on the current year profit.

Hi,

Calculation of NCI is a part of consolidation of investments. If you have maintained your group share percent the system calculates this amount for you for both equity items and result for the period.

You can find information in SAP help.

Group Reporting offers two options, activity based COI and rule-based approach.

I normally uses activity based COI because I see it as offering more functionality.
