In general, cloud services may have API Request Limits.

For example, Salesforce has the following information available.

Are there any such limitations in S/4HANA Cloud's API?

I have not seen any limits regarding API calls in S/4HANA Cloud to date. I'll do some internal checking as well but again, I'm not aware of any limits on the licensed editions.
