Hi, check if PC and Cost Center are 'open' in status fields (for GL account and posting key)

Hi Vinay,

Please follow the below Path :

Asset Accounting -> Integration with the General Ledger -> Additional Account Assignment Object -> Activate Account Assignment Objects

Kindly untick the Agreement check box for the Account assignment object .

Hi Vinay,

Please check Field status variant for the Posting key 70.

Pathway : Financial Accounting (New) --> Asset Accounting --> Integration with General Ledger Accounting --> Change the Field status variant of the Asset G/L Accounts

Then pls. go to Change field status for Posting Keys --> Go to Posting Key 70 (Debit Stock) --> Maintain Field Status --> Additional account Assignments , here you make cost center and profit center as an Optional entry.

go to AS02 and check the asset time dependent tab

Look at the cost Centre and then go to KO02 and enter the cost Centre

There you can see thee Profit centre of cost Centre

Check that both are same or not .

It would be good if you paste some screen shot

This error occurred bcz user activated 'Account Assignment Object' but object assignment not maintained properly,
here below steps you can follow for eliminating this error.

1- Check Account assignment object activation screen by SPRO path

SPRO -SAP REF IMG - Financial accounting new - Asset Accounting - Integration with GL accounting - Additional account assignment objects - Activate Account assignment objects.

2- Then go to t-code ACSET and maintain proper assignment for activated account assignment objects.

Hi Experts,

I am facing same issue but in different transaction code.

I am executing the AFAB (first time), below is the errors message:

Account object Profit Center differs from that in asset master record

Message No. AAPO190

Diagnosis

Account assignment object Profit Center with its value P9011001 is not the same as the value entered in the asset master record.

System Response

The system automatically uses account assignment object Profit Center with the value that is entered in the asset master record, since, according to settings in Customizing, the account assignment object is required to agree with the asset master record.

Procedure

Check the current account assignment transaction, or Customizing for account assignment in Asset Accounting.

Observations:

Findings: Asset master having cost center and profit center not maintained.

Cost center master maintained profit center.

Kindly advise, how to resolve the issue.

Max Guys will use G067. So, my suggestion to others to check with Technical clrg account for field status.
