BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN add component item category 'N'

Hi Guru's,

I am trying to add components which item category is 'N' to maintenance order thanks to BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but i can not handle with it.

Could you please help me.

In my scenario,

PM order is 400000012

and i am trying to add 2 components which are 3000000005 and 3000000006 with item category 'N'

In BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN go to table IT_Component; under there use the fields Material, Item_cat, Item_number. Apart from these use other mandatory fields such as Plant etc.

Since you have 2 items, you need to have 2 entries one with Item_number 0010 and one with 0020. Refer below screenshot:

But the other thing is , i am not sure about the it_methods part as well and i need to help if it needs more field to fill. Could you please help?

Hi I am using the same FM to add components to Production order, But getting error as purchasing Org not responsible for plant. I have tcode ox17 plant is assigned to purchasing org. Kindly help to resolve issue.
