Automatic Absence quota Generation Function QUOTA.

Hi All,

Can any body please help me with setting up the absence quota on automatic mode,

I am well versed with RPTQTA00 & 2006 but what to know about function QUOTA, i checked table T559L but could not understand to set it in a appropriate way.

Need your guidance on this.Thanks.

It's common question in forum, please finding & u can get deeply understand about it. Actually it's not too complicated to understand this part.

you can see really detail information & step by step to configure. If you want to automatic, please configure rule as mention in this document & V_T559L in SM31 choose Quota types to configure:

1. No generate -> create manually.

2. Increase or replace -> create by running PT60 ( Time Evaluation).

Hi;

Do you need to create quota in time evaluation? I usually create time quotas with the help of tcode PT_QTA00

I save a variant for the program and with the help of jobs (sm36) I work it automatically every day or week or every year according to the client's will.

So I think you can try PT_QTA00.

Hi,

I am ok with RPTQTA but what i am looking for is that is there any way through which i can set up automatic quota generation as per employee eligibility at the time of Hiring.

Suppose an employe joins on 16th of month then he is going to get .75 leave in place of 1.5 days for the month.

Please share your ideas.

Hi friend!

Actually in order to implement as per your requirements, u have to deeply understand Time Schema. Please following some step below:

1. Configure Absence will be generated by Time Type (eg: 99AA) in the same way in document i sent to u. In Base Entitlement: Day balance is Time Type. not constant. ( if you don;t know where configure Time Type: please read more & then configure in V_T555A).

2. In Time Schema, using other Time Type to count total working date in month: ( please understand the standard operation: using PDSY for more detail)

HRS=1

ADDDB9T99

3. IF EOM ( if end of month).

writing a PRC maybe as below and call in Time Schema.

HRS=D9T99 ( it's total date you count above).

HRS/BCURDY ( divide total date in month).

ADDDB99AAZ

HRS=0

DDMB9T99Z

It's not easy but try u best, u can do it Because on the last date of month, time type 99AA is bigger than 0, so u can see the absence quota on IT2006.
