They cannot keep the path to local C:/ Prgramme Files as they have another add-on (mail-merge) which uses word templates and they are stored in a folder located on the server. I tried copying the EnglishUK folder to this location thinking SAP might recongnise the path, it is not.

Does this path need to be always local ? Will it work if I point to B1-SHR becuase I tried on a different machine the word document opens up but it is the layout and not the data...

Any help is appreciated !

regards

JOhnson

Hi Johnson,

you dont need to copy the entire folder. all you need to do is share this and let other people access this folder. say for example
server\wordocs . If its not working, why dont you try to set it under C: root folder? will it work? hope we can find the right solution to your problem

Regards,

Darius Gragasin

I cannot change the path to C as I said in my first email they have an add-on which requires server path as default coz the templates are shared amoung all users and there are 100s of templates.

I can try moving add-on templates to B1_SHR path. But need to know if that works as I was getting error as well.

regards

Johnson
