Automatic Storage bin creation

Dear all,

How can I configure the system to create automatic storage bin for every goods movement in that storage type?

Storage bin is the Master data in WM. You need to create it by tcodes LS10 - Automatically by using structure, LS01N - Manually and for Interim stoarage type using LX20. It is not possible to create the storage bins automaitcally during transactions in WM

Normally, bins are real physical locations and you have to create them in advance - not at the time of the transaction. But if it is your requirement then you have to go to development.

Dynamic bins are created automatically by the system if it is set for your WM movement type - please check e.g. WM mvt 101, and you will see what settings are necessary (sPRO > LE > WM > Activities > Transfers > Define Movement tYpes; V_T333-VKDYN).

As per your information i am doing all you said but at the time of GR system shows Storage type xxx is not suitable as an interim storage area

Dynamic bin activation is meant for interim storage area. You can create storage bins by LX20 by for interim storage type.

Your storage type has a value in field T331-STEIN - so, it is not set up as an interim storage type that's why you cannot use dynamic bins.
