Restricting Absence Codes in ESS

Hello,

Could anyone point out to me how to restrict some absence codes for Employees in ESS so that they cant request them via Leave Request.

in v_t554s_web

there is setting like this

Employees Not Permitted to Submit Requests

Specifies whether employees are permitted to submit requests for each type of leave.

Use

Select this indicator if you have a type of leave that you want to be display-only in the Web application.

Example

You want absences of the type Illness with doctor's certificate to be displayed for employees' information.

Due to this absence wont appear in dropdown

otherwise use BADI pt_abs_req or pt_gen_req call a backend exit to check which absence he requested

Hi Navneet,

Go to the path on SPRO: Cross-Application Components > Time Sheet > Specific Settings for CATS regular > CATS regular > Record Working Times > Select Allowed Absence Types.

If you don´t want to allow a absence mark the check box.
