Wage type clarification

Dear Experts

Is there a way to identify, in which infotype a 'wage type' has been created. (ie does not appear under any infotype, used internally).

Eg : 6NPY is used for loss of pay computation in a sub schema

In that case you have to check through Schema only

Can you please check the Table T554C in that for unpaid valuation rule whether any wage type is being used ?

you Can also check the Assignment of valuation rule to your Absence type in V_554S_G

Hi Sikindar

This wage type is not used in those tables. This is used in a customised sub-schema (ie ZA05 in place of XT00) for 'Gross Rememuneration - Time Management.

By going through a schema, Is there a way to identify in which info type a particular wagetype is used. We are using international payroll.

The schema process the wage types which we maintain the infotypes in your case can you paste the rule ZA05 once

these results are not stored in IT but stored in Cluster Tables

Go to - Pu98, you will come to know, in which group hav ehave created the wage type.

Dear All

Many thanks for the kind assistance. PU98 was somewhat helpful for my purpose. But when I type 6NPY it displayed 3 infotypes simultaniously. (ie IT0008, IT0015 and IT0267).

What does this mean. A wage type can be created under one infotype in SPRO. Why is it showing 3 infotypes at once.

Its mean this wage type is created for the wage type group (0008,0015,0267).

Firstly are you useing the 6NPY as input wage type in any of the Infotype

If it is showing in three infotypes means you can access the wage type in the above threee infotypes

6NPY is not directly used to input data through any of the info types. This is used in a subschema where no. of nopay days are computed and passed to this (we use negative time) based on the no. of absence days entered in infotype 2001.

My requirement is I want to create a similar wage type which is used for a similar purpose. Hence need to know under which infotype this can be created in SPRO.

That is the reason i asked you the above things

This wage type is created to fetch the no of working days of an employee , we have a similar requirement

if you want to create the wage type similar to it firstly try to find out from which wage type this wage type has been generated for

through Tcode SM30 V_T52DZ

in standrad the undpaid leaves are caluclated in wage type /846

Use t-code OH11 to create (copy) new wage type. Since the new wage type will not be entered in any infotypes, you don't need to anything.

Perform the schema changes to accommodate new wage type.

This approach is the exact opposite of what you want to do, but you may find it helpful. Table V_T512Z will tell you the wage types that can be used in each Infotype. You have to supply the infotype and country code, and the system will then list the wage types that can be used there.

I checked the table that you mentioned. for 6NPY model wage type is 9NPM and original wage type is M610.

Is it possible to identify the infotype now.

Can you find out does this wage type is queried in any PCR ? in the schema for time being forget about infotype

First of all you check the WT created in RT or not ? If yes

Tthe best way is check in payroll log. where The Wage type generating based on that you can decide.

Offcourse i agree with you we need more patience to so.

Our friends are doing great job by giving you tables like V_T52DZ .

There itself you would have got.

Yes this is used in the scema ZA05 (ie in plcae of XT00). And ZA05 calls PCR ZA36. I have listed out the steps in ZA36.

so , this wage type is system generated wage type based on the splits so this will not stored in any of the infotypes or processed

baseing on the conditions of splits this wage type will be processed

so now what is your requirement ?
