Dates significance in Payment Program

Hi There,

Can any one help me in explaining the difference between the Run date and Posting date in automatic payment program. I know Posting date is the date on which the payment is cleared.

Is the Run date & Posting date is the same? can we enter past or future dates in run date?

Please clarify.

Hi,

Run Date and identification is the key to identify the particular payment run. it is recommended to specify the current date as run date , so that you can easily identify the payment run for future reference.

The user can enter any date as posting date based on their SOP. the system will post the payment on this date.
